Since we only breed 1 or 2 litters a year, having a litter is a special time for us. Our puppies are all born and raised in our home. They are constantly handled and played with, as socialization is very important. We always try our best to match the right puppy with the right people.

We also feel that education is a key to successful dog ownership, and every puppy buyer is given extensive handouts and a suggested reading list to help them prepare. Each puppy goes home with a puppy pack full of information that we have accumulated over the years. We are always available to answer any questions as well.

Our puppy's welfare is our first concern, and we are very selective as to what homes we will be placing our babies in. We prefer a family environment with a fenced in yard and a situation where someone will be home to take care of the puppy, as caring for a young puppy is a big job not to be taken lightly. We realize that people work and have busy schedules, but to take on the responsibility of dog ownership requires planning and making sure you will be able to be there for your new family member, especially in the beginning when they are infants.

Much thought goes into each breeding, as our purpose is to produce something that we can keep for ourselves. Our dogs have had their hips and elbows OFA certified, are tested for the prcd-PRA gene, tested for EIC, and have their eyes AVCO examined yearly. In addition, all our dogs have their hearts cleared by a veterinary cardiologist. All puppies are sold on AKC limited registration.

We hope to be having puppies in 2024. Check back for information on our next litter!

We are also happy to give referrals to our breeder friends who have litters.
